Sponsor the College of Fellows Golf and Pickleball Tournaments

Deadline approaching for you to support these events that enable the expansion of scholarship opportunities for talented young people from within the SMACNA family.

The SMACNA College of Fellows is conducting a golf outing and pickleball tournament in conjunction with the SMACNA convention to raise money to support the College of Fellows Scholarship Program. The 2024 events at the upcoming Annual Convention in Palm Desert, CA, offer several opportunities for sponsors to support this critical effort.  The deadline to sponsor these events is on August 23rd.

A listing of sponsorship opportunities can be found  here.

SMACNA’s College of Fellows Scholarship Program identifies and recognizes academically talented youth and potential future leaders within the SMACNA extended family. It allows them to further their education and develop their talents as future leaders and positive contributors to society.

Each year, the College awards several four-year scholarships to students who are either SMACNA contractors, employees of SMACNA contractors, SMACNA Fellows, SMACNA associate members, local chapter or National SMACNA staff, or members of the families of any of these groups. In 2016 the College began incrementally increasing the amount of these scholarships from $3,000 to $4,000 a year. The College accomplished this primarily because of the success of programs such as the golf outing, made possible with the continued support of our sponsors. By sponsoring either (or both) of this year’s fundraising events, you will help us to defray costs and provide revenue, enabling the College to either increase the number of scholarships awarded each year or the annual dollar value of the scholarships.

Please take a moment to review the sponsorship opportunities. If you have any questions, please contact Heather Frank at SMACNA.
